Jagran Prakashan Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 28, 2011, inter alia, has transacted the following businesses:
1. The re-appointment of (i) Mr. Mahendra Mohan Gupta as Chairman and Managing Director (ii) Mr. Sanjay Gupta as CEO and Whole Time Director (iii) Mr. Dhirendra Mohan Gupta, Mr. Sunil Gupta and Mr. Shailesh Gupta as Whole Time Directors for the period of 5 years w.e.f. October 01, 2011 subject to the approval of shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
2. Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held on August 26, 2011.
