Present Status Of The Market And Future Anticipation

Nifty/ Sensex: Anticipated High-Lows for the Week

Nifty: High - 5,834.17 – 5,855.00(Optimistic 5,870.00 – 5,880.00) : Low - 5,731.85 – 5,747.80(pessimistic 5,709.19 - 5,717.63)
Sensex: High -19,604.95 – 19,680.15(Optimistic 19,705.86 – 19,730.46) Low -19,297.00 – 19,316.76 (pessimistic 19,211.58)

PRESENT STATUS OF THE MARKET AND FUTURE ANTICIPATION: Within the lower top lower bottom patterns of this month indices made on ‘Inside Week’ last week moving within a comparative narrow range showing lowest intraweek volatility in last 11 weeks while ending in positive territory by breaking up on Friday from sideways patterns of preceding 4 working days – now in this week indices should move in a zig-zag manner in which profit booking should emerge in ranges 5,834.17 – 5,855.00 & 19,604.95 – 19,680.15 (Optimistic 5,870.00 – 5,880.00 & 19,705.86 – 19,730.46) and support should emerge in ranges 5,731.85 – 5,747.80 & 19,297.00 – 19,316.76 (pessimistic 5,709.19 - 5,717.63 & 19,183.22 – 19,211.58) and then closing of the week will tell whether down move has restarted – if indices close below 5,834.17 & 19,527.40 with black candles while closing in lower half of the weekly candles then one should anticipate good fall in next week – on the other hand if indices close with white candles above these levels then first couple of days next week will still give bulls some opportunity to book profits at slightly higher levels (less chances) ; only if at any dayend indices close above 5,937.90 & 19,977.67 then one would take it that lower top lower bottom patterns of last one month have ended (bleak chances), otherwise maximum chances are that same trend will continue in future leading to ‘Intermediate Sell Mode’ sooner than later – it should be noted that market is holding ground on news of anticipated ‘FED interested rate cut’ early next week – accompanying future outlook should have immediate direct impact.

TODAY'S TREND: Resistance in the Second Half.

2) MEDIUM TERM TREND (INTERMEDIATE) :

It Continues sideways.

Last week 173 scrips have closed higher as compared to only 60 scrips in the preceding week (av. rise per scrip at 6 .22% is also higher than the av. rise per scrip of 5.70% in the preceding week) & only 54 scrips have closed lower as compared to 169 scrips in the preceding week (av. fall per scrip at 2.68 % is also lower than the av. fall per scrip of 5.78% in the preceding week) out of 250 scrips we follow regularly;

Last week’s A-D data having such high % rise with such high AD ratio tilted toward bulls leads to heavy profit booking and correction in following week in 80% cases.

Last week on the buy side 17 trades were recommended involving positions equivalent to 61 .25 % of the capital (18.75 % on delivery basis) and profit / loss booking was recommended in 14 trades (which included 3 trades of earlier weeks) involving positions equivalent to 19 .31 % of the capital (11 .85 % on delivery basis).
