VIEW POINT: RECOVERY LIKELY AFTER A WEAK OPENING

 

Nifty closed at a fresh 52 week high in yesterday's trade while Sensex posted the highest close since 17th October. However, rest of the world markets have not panned out well after we closed.  European markets tumbled on worries over European banks' exposure to Dubai debt and weaker-than-expected German industrial producer data. US market had an additional reason to fall in the form of disappointing corporate news from 3M and McDonald's. This morning, Japan is down on weaker than expected GDP data.  Rest of the Asia is also mourning, however cuts are limited to about 0.5%.

 

Coming back to our markets, not only the price action was heartening, market internals are also indicating lot of strength. Derivative data suggests bullish undertone as 5100 and 5200 strike calls witnessed unwinding while 5400 strike saw fresh build up. On the put side 5100 strike saw maximum addition. Put-call ratio shot up to 1.41 from 1.35. The turnover was higher and advance-decline ratio too was good. While the opening today will definitely will be lower on the back of weak global cues, a sharp recovery is not ruled out. IFCI, IDBI, HCL Tech saw good build up on the F & O side and can be looked at for taking long positions with appropriate stop losses.

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone.
'Like heck they're getting divorced,' she shouts, 'I'll take care of this.'
She calls Mumbai immediately, and screams at the old man, 'You are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR??' and she hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. 'Okay', he says, 'It's all set. They're both coming for our anniversary and paying their own airfare!!'
MORAL:
No man / woman is busy in this world all 365 days. The sky is not going to fall down if you take few days LEAVE and meet your dear ones. OFFICE WORK and MONEY MAKING IS NOT EVERYTHING IN LIFE.

The most Herculean task about the latest release PAA was transforming a 67-year old Amitabh Bachchan into 13-year old child Auro, suffering from a rare disorder called progeria. So come let's take a short run-through over how Amitabh became Auro.

The prosthetic makeup, as we know, has been done by Hollywood 's Christien Tinsley (THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, CATWOMAN) and Dominie Till (THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY).

 


According to the reports Bachchan's make-up cost 10 per cent of the total budget.



It is learnt that it used to take four to five hours daily for Amitabh Bachchan's makeup to be done for his film PAA.



Not only this, if it used to take four hours to put on the make-up then two hours to remove it.



There are eight different layers of clay which has been put in his make up in the film.



While applying the make up he cannot eat, drink and talk for four hours.



Most of the performance comes out because of the make up.



Big B wore specially designed dentures so as to effortlessly replicate the voice of a 13-year old child.



He gets a lisp and his speech pattern gets altered because of the extra teeth.



He wore the dentures throughout the film's shooting and also had them on while dubbing.



Infact he has also sung a song in his voice wearing these dentures, which sounds like a child.



But Big B never ever showed a sign of panic, on the contrary he was always co-operative, patient, cool and full of enthusiasm.

Where is the market going????  Now the calculation about the positive trend in mind and calculating the levels of 5200-5300-5500 levels.  The closing below 5120 levels was not good technically, still there is a chance to bounce back and touch the next resistance level of 5180.  Keep a SL of 5090-5075 levels in long Nifty and trade for 5180 levels.

Just see that i have indicated that the market is going to new highs.  Today the market reached 5018 levels.  If it crossed those levels then we must see the levels of 5140+  Hope before or immediate after expiry we can see it soon.  Long position traders should keep a SL 5080 now as below this level it will go upto 5050-60-40-20 levels too.

All Asian Markets made their 13 month last week except India.  Now this is the Turn of Indian Markets.  We are also going to in higher levels before the expiry of November.  The market consolidated before going to the new high and long position holders can put a SL around 5010 levels and trade for 5150 levels.  Cross over of 5080 is open for the door for those levels.
