Due to dollar weakness metal prices are gaining and which will boost the metal stocks.  All the metal sectors already corrected heavily and now it is a buying opportunity.  Today one can BUY TATA Steel, Sterlite, Hindalco, Bhushan Stell for Intra Day gain whether it is in cash of future.  Hindalo is trading around 134/- levels and which can touch upto 140 levels.  The same gains can expected the other scripts too.

Why you want to take NRE Coke ??? Is there any particular reason...? The 3rd quarter result of the company is not good.  In the same range you can invest some other companies. Rohit Ferro is a good buy for short to medium term as the fundamentals are looking attractive. Apart from that you can think about Deccan Gold a long time prospects

You have to follow the principle of FIFO(First in first out)
So you have sold the 100 shares you have bought on 23.09.2008 @ 123.98 on 02.02.2009 @ 72.64 and thus had a Short term loss of Rs 5134/- (FY 2008-2009)
(I think you have given the wrong sell date as this transaction should have been reflected in your annual return for the FY 2008-2009)
 
Anyway now you are left with 100 shares @ 66.33+100 shares @ 202.62+ 100 shares @ 0 (bonus shares are taken as 0 Value)
 
There is no capital gain or loss in 2009-10 as you have not sold any share in this period
 
However you have a short term capital loss of Rs 5134 in the FY 2008-2009
 
 
In case you have given any wrong dates please post again to rework and advise

on 18-12-2009 Bonus was declared as 1:2

Now I have 300 shares

1. What is average cost of shares (I want to include it in portfolio)
2. What is capital gains for 2009-10

Book profit in Hindalco as lot size is very big (3518)  TATA Steel, Sterlite, & Bhushan all on fire so book partial profit as market is not sustaining in higher levels

Keep the price target or stop changing as per the market conditions if required

Online people instead of putting stop use stock alerts or simply put stop on say 1 share to know the stop trigger.

Most important of all In spite of all these precautions if the trade goes wrong just close the call and forget. Never ever try to repair a wrong trade. It is not a shoe. It is a share. Well you may curse me on this, that is my hard earned money how can I forget?

Well my dear investors do not waste your resources on the door which has already been closed rather look for the doors that is about to open.
