| Hi Shaila Belated new year greetings to you and the entire sharetrading group Over last 3 years we have heard a lot of noise that the next sunrise industry is water management Being in agreement , I went through the balance sheets of the exclusive listed player i.e. Ion Exchange India Ltd. There is nothing exciting at least for the next 12 months Opportunities are plenty but not fully capitalized It has prestigious projects in hand in India and abroad But so far margins are miniscule Long term potential is promising Thermax is also into this segment but for reverse osmosis Wipro also has a small division for this Plenty of non listed players like GE Water solutions , Va Tech , Driplex Water Engg , Indocan , Joshi Ion Exchange and numerous others Reliance Mukesh group is gung ho about this field Tata`s are also foraying into this My guess is that IEIL could be taken over by either of the above two Fortunes and stock prices of IEIL could change drastically after this In a nutshell water treatment , management and desalination of sea water has great future ------------ Capex stands for capital expenditure Power equipment : Bhel , L&T , ABB , Siemens , Infra : Road , bridges , airport , port builders Engg : EIL , Mcnally Bharat , Havells , Elecon List is endless Regards Pradip Kenkre
