As of last close, it is still not a technical buy as weekly has not yet generated buy signal. Also the volumes show lack of interest, hence the driving force is missing. However, if you think the stock is worth as a LT pick, one may enter. Remember 23% of stock was pledged. It is down to 18%. Also the interest payments are reducing……
Overall considering the prospects that this stock should return good numbers in LT and the field of operation being a sensitive sector, one may INVEST with a 2 year perspective minimum. But be prepared to see the price dip as much as another 50%, considering that it has come down from Rs 900 levels.
SL 131. Buy as close as possible to this number…………………..

Yes, MTNL has indicated buy on daily and weekly. But with 2 days of move, third day could be sluggish. I guess one would be able to catch a retracement. Some of the LT MA's have turned up, indicating bottom has been made. One may buy here and average down (if it does move down). In case of big moves, wait, it will come back to low 80's. The volume seen is the biggest since last aug '08, wherein a down slide began. Hence this could have a meaning of an upturn.

Any thing noteworthy on the techincal side for MTNl - made a good upmove yesterday with good volumes, I could observe that good support on 50 day EMA was taken.

today morning presents a mixed bag, with some on sideway drag and others on a roll. Whereas in US, some indices made gains, whereas others was a sideways drag. However in bull zone this is to be expected and not to be seen as weakness. Asia Bull zone rise is a tired slow rise with index on a jump start, and sideways through the day, with scrip's of the index taking turns to jump. This is not to be taken as an exit signal for negative scrip's.
Just hold your horses if 5230 is intact…………………… However if individual charts say to exit, better to be wrong than sorry.

Presently there is many scrip pushing 52 week highs. As well as 2 which are pushing 52 week lows. Stay away from the low ones. Also when market reverses, just jump off the ones pushing 52 week highs or anytime they break 21 day EMA, though one may trade in these once 13 day EMA is hit.
