The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 3098.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 where as the Net Loss was at Rs (7835.70) million for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. Total Income is Rs 16585.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs 18824.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2010.
The Un-Audited results for the Year ended March 31, 2011
The Company has posted a net loss of Rs (1856.60) million for the year ended March 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs (14140.90) million for the year ended March 31, 2010. Total Income is Rs 46980.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs 37318.20 million for the year ended March 31, 2010.

The Group has posted a Net Profit after share in associate's profit and minority interest of Rs 4315.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 where as Net (Loss) after share in associate's profit and minority interest was at Rs (1884.70) million for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. Total Income is Rs 74016.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs 61745.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2010..
The Un-Audited consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2011
The Group has posted a Net Loss after share in associate's profit and minority interest of Rs (11034.30) million for the year ended March 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs (9825.60) million for the year ended March 31, 2010. Total Income is Rs 181968.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2011 where as the same was at Rs 208486.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2010.
Hansen Transmissions International NV ("Hansen") ceased to be a subsidiary of the Company with effect from November 24, 2009. The Company holds 26.06% stake in Hansen as on March 31, 2011 and has accounted for it as an associate. The consolidated financial figures for the year ended March 31, 2010 inter alia include the financial figures of Hansen till November 2009 as subsidiary and subsequently as an associate. Accordingly, the consolidated financial results for the year ended March 31, 2011 are to that extent not comparable with the consolidated financial results of the prior periods presented.Read More
