i am invested in gold from 2005. So i do watch it closely...but not too closely as a lot of it is just noise!


All dips in PM are buys!

On japan - their central bank wants a weak yen....so they are buying USD.. selling yen

Japan/Asia usually starts the Profit booking/Correction in gold after it runs up sharply......Which will be followed by trades happening in US....

Not sure if one such intermediate downtrend/correction has begun in Gold this time around......Looks like investors across Asia/Japan are booking profits/closing long in Gold.....

Lets see how US takes it up from here.....

BTW, can this trigger off a rally in Crude to 90-100$??? Can Gulf countries / Middle East use this as an opportunity to Jack Up crude prices (by declaring production cuts etc) - to make money for Dubai World bailout.... Strange/Wild thoughts....  :)

I can understand the fall in Equity, which can be considered as profit booking being riskier asset classes - But Why gold???

Is it normal profit taking in gold or start of intermediate correction???
