Indian Bank: Change in Directorate

Indian Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (c) of sub-section 3 of section 9 of The Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 of The Nationalised Banks (Management & Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Government of India vide its notification dated May 30, 2011 has nominated Dr. N. Krishna Mohan, Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Department of Currency Management, Central Office, Mumbai - 400 001 as Director on the Board of Directors of the Bank in place of Shri S Karuppasamy, with immediate effect and until further orders.
