Volant Textile Mills Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 25, 2011, inter alia, has considered and transacted the following business:

1. The Board accepted the resignation of Mr. Rajesh Somani from the post of Managing Director.

2. The Board has appointed Mr. Anantvikram Somani as Managing Director w.e.f. January 25, 2011.
