Adani Power Ltd: Clarifies on News item

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily dated January 26, 2011 titled "Adani Power plans $500-m FCCB by mid-Feb" and the consequent appearance of similar articles on various web portals, Adani Power Ltd has clarified to BSE that as of January 27, 2011, the Company have no plans of issuance of FCCB and neither the Company have mandated anyone to do so.
