Hello,With the results out, I was hoping for members who voted to provide the reasoning behind the same. Let me initiate the same with my reasoning for voting.In the last couple of posts, I am arguing the bearish case and here I am having voted for the Bullish Scenario to unfold. I voted purely on basis of what's available on charts and hence will stick to charts.For a 1 year perceptive, best chart to use will be the weekly chart. If one sees the weekly chart of Nifty, one can notice that we are still way in the top bracket itself. From the low of March 2009, we have made 3 Pivot highs and 2 Pivot lows. Current move is in tune to make the 3rd pivot low.Till date, there is no violation of previous lows and every high has exceeded previous pivot high. This means that on weekly charts, there is still no sign of weakness. The first such sign will come in when we breakdown below 4535 and then the next high is not greater than the 3rd Pivot high. Till such time, in my opinion, market will not have entered the bear phase.Of course, above view is not useful either for traders since we would have fallen quite substantially by the time there is confirmation on weekly charts. This is more of a academic exercise. I personally am a trend follower and hence if I am trading the weekly charts, I see no reason to be short. Last week, my system gave a Sell call, but there is still plenty of time for it to go into short mode.CheersPrashanthPS: Personally am very much interested in why Sniper voted for both to be breached.
