Suzlon Energy Ltd: Issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs)

Suzlon Energy Ltd has informed BSE that in terms of the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 11, 2010 and as approved by the shareholders on November 16, 2010 by way of Postal Ballot, the Securities Issue Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company has been authorised to decide on the terms for appropriate mode of further issue of equity shares, GDRs, ADRs, FCCBS, SPNs and / or any other securities convertible into or linked to equity shares up to Rs. 5,000 Crores.

Accordingly, the Securities Issue Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 04, 2011, has approved the issuance of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds due 2016 (the "Bonds") to be listed on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and has decided to open the Issue on April 04, 2011. The floor price for the conversion of the Bonds shall be Rs. 46.05.
