one more thing i have noticied.
once you download a file and only half the file gets downloaded. the second time it attempts to download from that point. and then it again gives an error.
Remove temp internet files using the tools-options inthe IE explorer.
and then try to save the file with a different name.

I have verified @ 3 various computers the said both files are downloading and opening very fine. Please check your computer for
1. Virus 2. Malware 3. Corrupted Acrobat or any other driver and 4 any missing updates
or try to check it in another computer
