Nifty November 2009 futures were at 5,000.35, near spot closing of 4998.95. Turnover in NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 72,277.97 crore, much lower than Rs 82,089.52 crore on Thursday, 12 November 2009.
JSW Steel November 2009 futures were at premium at 899 compared to the spot closing of 896.15.
State Bank of India November 2009 futures were at a slight premium at 2,295 compared to the spot closing of 2,293.05.
DLF November 2009 futures were at premium at 369.20 compared to the spot closing of 368.
In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty rose 46.30 points or 0.93% at 4,998.95.
