[Technical-Investor] FIIs continue buying.......

 

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 151.40 crore on Thursday, 12 November 2009, sharply lower than Rs 972.70 crore on Wednesday, 11 November 2009.

FII inflow of Rs 151.40 crore on 12 November 2009 was a results of gross purchases Rs 2517.40 crore and gross sales Rs 2366 crore. The BSE Sensex fell 153.57 points or 0.91% to 16,696.03 on that day.

FII inflow in November 2009 totaled Rs 2,878.40 crore (till 12 November 2009). FII had bought equities worth Rs 8303.80 crore in October 2009. FII inflow in the calendar year 2009 totaled Rs 71,319.50 crore (till 12 November 2009).

There are a total of 1709 foreign funds registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India (Sebi).
