Asahi Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 05, 2011, inter alia, has transacted the following business:
1. Accepted the re-appointment of Shri Jaikumar Vishwanath Mishra as the Managing Director of the Company pursuant to Sections 198, 269, 309, 310, 311 and Schedule XIII of the Companies Act, 1956, for a period of
five years commencing from January 15, 2011 till January 14, 2016.
2. Ratified the:
a) Resignation of Dr. Pritam Singh Pritam from the directorship of the Company w.e.f. December 06, 2010.
b) Appointment of Ms. Mrinal Tayal as an Additional Director of the Company w.e.f. December 14, 2010.
