I just joined share khan and
Let us experience…….
Share khan office is near by, so that should not be a problem. Mt friend has good experience only. Though on brokerage, they do not budge much.
In
Scheme 7500/- (refundable after brokerage paid 7500/- maximum time 1 year)
Brokerage: Intraday 0.02% only on selling side
Delivery 0.15% both side
Future 0.02%
Option 35 rupees per lot
Most important in the evolution of a trader is a good platform and low brokerages. One has to make a compromise between these two. Please do not give high brokerage; else, the broker will earn more than you with all the risk on your head… every year or two look out and change as needed…..

These are my experiences with the trading platforms and brokers.
Sharekhan is good, only because of their trading platforms.
1) Their trade tiger (around 25 servers) is good and fast and charting facilities with almost all indicators and historical charts.
2) 2 website addresses for trading through web based.
3) Easy trade/fast trade platform
I don't think in ODIN, there is a good charting facility.
Plus points:
1) There is no hidden charges.
2) There is 5days squire off facility
minus points::
1) Their customer service is worst.
2) Their brokerage is too high.
For futures & Options
RK Global is the best. their brokerage is too meagre and there is no tension of brokerage.
For eg: if you trade 1 lot of nifty of Rs. 5000 your brokerage including taxes will be around Rs.83 (for intraday or carry forward)
If you trade 1 lot of nifty option of Rs. 100, your brokerage including taxes will be around Rs. 25/-
But they charge monthly for trading platform ie., ODIN or Web based, for online traders, but there is no hidden charges and they charge Rs. 25/- / executed trade through their customer care. Their web based trading platform is the worst. for eg: if u want to squire off your position through their web based system, on submitting the order itself, price might have reached +/- 10 points.
The biggest tension in trading futures & options is brokerage, first of all we have to run to cover the brokerage after the trade is executed, if i am not wrong.
The worst is
I am not a promoter of sharekhan or RK Global!
