Swaraj Engines net profit rises 61.30% in the March 2010 quarter

Sales rise 53.03% to Rs 75.84 crore

Swaraj Engines net profit rose 61.30% to Rs 9.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2010 as against Rs 5.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2009. Sales rose 53.03% to Rs 75.84 crore in the quarter ended March 2010 as against Rs 49.56 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2009.

For the full year,net profit rose 75.52% to Rs 37.35 crore in the year ended March 2010 as against Rs 21.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2009. Sales rose 35.91% to Rs 280.40 crore in the year ended March 2010 as against Rs 206.31 crore during the previous year ended March 2009.
