K.P.R. Mill Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 31, 2011, pursuant to the provisions of Section 260 of the Companies Act 1956, Sri. C. Thirumurthy, has been appointed as an 'Additional Director' of the Company. He will be acting as an "Independent Director" and his term will expire in the Next Annual General Meeting of the Company.
