Global Boards Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 19, 2011, inter alia, has approved and discussed the following business:
1. The extension of Financial Year 2010-2011 by period of 6 (six) months i.e. from 01.04.2011-31.03.2011 to 01.04.2010-30.09.2011, subject to the approval of the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai.
2. The extension of Annual General Meeting for the year 2010-2011 beyond September 30, 2011, by period of 3 (Three) months i.e. upto December 31, 2011, subject to the approval of the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai.
The above extensions are proposed, as the Composite Modified Scheme of Arrangement in nature of Amalgamation of Metrochem Industries Ltd with Global Boards Ltd and Restructure of Share Capital of Global Board Ltd is pending before Hon'ble High Court, Mumbai.
