Hi kk,

I am not sure since when you are using this system but if I were you I will never
trader this system. Here is why:
Trade given : Long above 5040, target 5066, 5091, SL 4997.
Lets do simple maths.
Potential Profit : T1 = 5066 - 5040 = 26 pts , T2 = 5091-5040 = 51 pts
Potential Loss : SL = 5040 - 4997 = 43 pts

At T1 the risk to reward ratio is 2:1 and at T2 its about 1:1. So if you
trade for T1 targets you need the system to be correct 67% of the time
just to breakeven. At T2 targets you need to be correct 50% of the time
to breakeven.

You can do the same maths for the potential short given and that will
give same numbers. I dont know if most of your trades are like this or if
they are peculiar to today but if they are then I will get rid of this system asap.
The rule of thumb to follow is unless your system gives you atleast 1:2.5 risk
to reward ratio, its not worth looking at. Of course other parameters will need
to be considered but purely from risk to reward I will recommend atleast 1:2.5

Cheers
Pankaj

TODAY being a volotile day, i am not geting any signals to either go long or short in this set up

But using camirilla pivot levels the long was above 5040 for a trgt of 5066 and 5091 sl of 4997

and for short it will be below 4997 for a target of 4950 - 4938  SL 5040

Hi Seniors

Anything specifics already shared with the group on how to trade Nifty Futures - for intraday, BTST, Swing and Positional trades (max 2 weeks only).

I personally prefer Nifty Futures and pretty well know that the same does not work as per the normal cash scrips.

AP had once posted that if one just trades in Nifty Futures and trades well he should be able to make decent profits. I am definitely interested in learning to trade nifty futures in particular and thus my interests in trying to understand OI as posted by Vish.

Another reason why i am attracted towards Nifty Futures is because carrying short positions in not allowed in cash scrips in India and given the fact that markets trend only 40% of the times would not want to miss the short selling part of it.

Would sincerely appreciate if seniors could share with us how they trade Nifty Futures in particular, the strategy that best works and anything and everything which we need to know about Nifty Futures.

Am aware of the risks and exposures involved as have burnt my fingers in the past trading nifty futures but i guess those who are ready for it can take atleast 1 to 2 lots to begin with if they have the required capital i.e.

Thanks in advance
Regards
Floyd

Hi Guys,
I attached a chart of Bharti Airtel. From the chart, especially ADX oscillator is indicating a strong negative direction, but the stock is moving up.
Please advise me how to interpret the chart.

Thanks in advance
