Hi Prashanth & MMM Thanks for your inputs. Honestly speaking am seeking specific information pertaining to the BTST services offered by ShareKhan Brokerage House only. As different brokerage houses offer different schemes - am given to understand that India Infoline offers BTST facility on all the scrips irrespective of the category. But, my RMO said that Sharekhan offers BTST facility only on the Nifty 50 scripts. Also, as had bad experiences from RMO's in the past due to their lack of knowledge wanted to reconfirm from members on this group using sharekhan as their brokerage house and the BTST facility that they are availing with sharekhan and their experiences on it till date. I do not use Sharekhan, but I believe that its not necessary to follow any one's BTST ideas since the logic is pretty simple.
Brokerage houses generally provide BTST based on breakouts. The Idea is that if the stock is breaking out today, it shall continue its upward / downward journey at-least till next day when the same can be off loaded for a fresh set of breakout stocks.
If you are having Live Data feed to Ami, you can configure your own Breakout using AFL and see how it matches many of the stocks picked by the brokerage house.
