Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) Ltd: Updates

With reference to the earlier announcement dated April 16, 2011, Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) Ltd has now informed BSE that on May 23, 2011 the Company has completed the acquisition of Chloro Chemicals Division from Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd. and henceforth the said division is part and unit of the Company and has been named as Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) Ltd. (Formerly Bihar Caustic & Chemicals Ltd.) Renukoot Chemical Division.
