my personal would be to go for ipca labs, ranbaxy , natco pharma as there is more hidden potential in these midcaps as compared to the mature companies. looking at the market mood , big mncs are taking over indian companies or indian operations of some companies , cipla might be takeover target.
no body thought piramal will be acquired by abott, ranbaxy by daichii so cipla might be the next one . but otherwise apar from generics the organic growth has already happened , now give a chance to some midcap ones like glenmark , aurobindo ets.
these are my personal views.
