RE: [sharetrading] China

Though i beleive every country has its own problems like India has there own terrorism issues as well.

China not being a democracy could end up going the Soviet union way or just survive thru thick & thin,

But the fact of the matter remains , you need to give the devil its due......Today China has built a enormous amount of reserves and is the 2nd ....3rd largest econonomy in the World.

And appeasing such powerfull friends instead of really confronting them could be just more beneficial to us.

For example look at it, Pakistan where is it today ....wouldnt it have been more beneficial for them to have befriended us.

what about the "made in china" imported by indian companies..

Most of the ceramic tiles are imported from china because they are cheap and being sold here as kajaria and J&J , you may even get a made in inda label

All the electronic goods produced by all wel known brands are "Made in china" Take your computer for instance.. You hard disk is Segate "made in china" Your Samsung TFT monitor is Made in china, Your LG DVD drive is made in china,,,

Where all can you avoid..

But there is a silver lining to al this,, China wil die from its own problems from inside.. wait for another 2 years.. This kind of repressive policies dont last long.. The workers are actually slaves there and they have started agitating... slowly but surely there willl be an uprising,,

China seems to be acting a bit arrogantly towards India recently. Some of the issues are:

1) Territorial disputes in Aksai Chin, Tawang, Arunachal

2) Stopping us from building roads in our territory

3) Siding with Pakistan against us and helping in nuclear capability

4) Constructing dams on common rivers without consultation

5) Dumping cheap goods in our markets

6) Questioning our PM's visit to Arunachal

The only plus factor seems to be its support on the UN seat

The Government as per its role, has to work using negotiation and cooperation but the general public is not constrained by such restrictions. Why not start a non-cooperation movement and stop buying Chinese goods. What will they do? Stop buying iron ore? That will solve the illegal mining problem.
