Re: [sharetrading] GIFT FOR YOUR LOVED ONE - Query

Thanks Abe.

I am using Butterfly Power Hob.  I was recomended to plug with 15Amp socket.  But I am getting spark on the socket sometimes while switching on. Is there any limit regarding the weight of the cooking items.  (e.g 5 liters of water).

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Thanks Abe,

I also have bought one and find it useful for boiling , etc and find the device is quite good. Only issue with this is that it  can only be used with certain type of steel utensils and iron utensils. Copper bottom and small/medium sized utensils cannot be used.

Lastly thanks for all the wonderful inputs you have been giving in this forum. God bless You.

best regards

Sorry that this is a unrelated message to stock markets, but one of importance……..

Recently I have come across many women who are asthmatic / bronchitis patients and have been wondering why????

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Recently I happened to go to an exhibition. As usual one of the stalls selling cookware hassled me into buying an Induction stove. It was one of the modern gadgets and being an engineer skeptical of its efficacy / efficiency. However after bringing it home and using it for the last 1 month, I am thankful for that salesman and me getting hassled and profiting from it………

Positive impacts :

1.The time saved in certain operations such as boiling, steaming etc takes less than 30% of gas stove time.

2. Carbon mon oxide / CO2, poisoning of kitchen – 100% avoided. NO SMOKE – even the invisible kind.

3. Space saving and ease of moving as it is light weight.

4. Relatively cheap in initial cost. And running costs

5. Damage resistant.

6. Can be operated on UPS.

Negatives:

  1. Require Electricity.
  2. Only one stove.
  3. Fragile to a degree.
  4. Electrical components. Rigidity – suspect.
  5. In some activities, time is not saved.
  6. Need to be careful in some operations

In spite of everything, the one aspect which is high lighted in green should convince us, to gift our loved one, who toils in the factory of home. Let us begin with safety standards at home before professing it on the world……… Carbon mon oxide, can lead to slow asphyxiation, death….. CO2 & CO reduces the oxygen content in the kitchens………..

Hope all will take it in due good spirit…….

Abe
