United Breweries Ltd: Allotment Shares in terms of Scheme of Amalgamation

United Breweries Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant upon Amalgamation of Associated Breweries and Distilleries Limited (ABDL), Millennium Alcobev Private Limited (MAPL) and Empee Breweries Limited (EBL) into United Breweries Limited (UBL) as per the Scheme of Amalgamation (Scheme) sanctioned by the Hon'ble High Courts of Karnataka and Madras, the Committee of Directors have at Its meeting held on March 11, 2011 approved allotment of 14,496,683 equity shares of Re. 1/- each of UBL to the eligible shareholders of MAPL & EBL in terms of the Scheme.
